New Features and Enhancements
User Watchlist
Secure and Govern has added a User Watchlist that allows customers to proactively monitor high-risk users, such as employees that have put in their notice or highly-privileged users. With the User Watchlist, administrators can easily review previous file activity and Issues for watchlist users and reduce the Unusual Access threshold for watchlist users to be alerted sooner of potential exfiltration.
The User Watchlist feature is available to customers on the Elite and Ultimate plans. Contact the account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
Content Safeguards - Share Link Type Exceptions
Content Safeguards exception policies now support group-based exceptions for link sharing controls. This enables Secure and Govern administrators to create Content Safeguard policies to restrict particular link types from being created by all users except specific user groups.
Unified and Simplified Migration & Replication Experience (General Availability)
Egnyte has now introduced a new option called Migrate & Replicate in Secure & Govern. It enables the users to view the existing migration or replication jobs, add a new source, create a new job, and manage the content sources.
This provides a simplified, centralized way to manage all migration and replication jobs. The feature was previously made available to a limited number of customers and is now generally available.
Egnyte Domain to Domain Cloud Migration
Egnyte now offers all its customers the ability to carry out Egnyte domain to domain cloud migrations. This feature enables the customers to move data from one Egnyte domain to another using a guided cloud migration wizard.
This capability supports smoother transitions during organizational changes, reduces operational effort, and ensures continuity of access and ownership across domains.
