Teams - Move or Copy Action in Egnyte Tab
Egnyte now provides the users with the ability to Move or Copy a file or folder in the Egnyte tab in Microsoft Teams similar to Web UI feature in Collaborate. When a user moves or copies a file or folder from the Egnyte tab in MS Teams, the changes sync back to the Egnyte Web UI.
This keeps files and folders aligned across Microsoft Teams and the Egnyte Web UI, so updates are reflected instantly in both places. Users can manage content from either interface without switching tools.
Teams - Admin Setup Improvements in Apps & Integrations
Once the Admin Setup is complete, the initial configuration tile on the Apps & Integrations page now displays the updated status. Admins can hover over and click on Settings to edit the configuration, if needed.
Outlook - Upload and Share Files
Egnyte now enables the users to upload local files to Egnyte and share secure links to the uploaded content directly from email. Before sharing, users can set access permissions and link expiration. Afterwards, the generated link is automatically inserted into the email body.
This makes sharing files faster and more secure, while giving users better control over who can access the content and for how long.
