External Release Notes: Web UI (November 5, 2025)
New Features and Enhancements
Manage Email Domains for External Link Sharing
Egnyte enables customers to define allowed or blocked email domains for external link sharing. The feature enhances the overall link sharing experience by giving customers greater flexibility and control over managing access. The feature was previously available to a limited number of customers and is now generally available with additional capabilities.
Users now have a separate option to manage email domains for co-editing link restrictions. They can enable or disable Activate Co-editing Link Restrictions option to manage email domains.
Additionally, they can also add and edit exceptions for sharing or co-editing link restrictions.
This feature is available for customers having Platform plans - Enterprise Lite, Enterprise, Life Sciences, Document Room, GxP, and all Next Gen plans. Contact your account manager or Egnyte Sales team for more information.
Quick Access to Egnyte Community
Egnyte now offers a direct link to the Egnyte Community available in the right sidebar panel in the Web UI. This update provides quick and easy access to a wealth of resources, including peer-to-peer discussions, specialty groups, curated support, training, and best practice resources via the Insights Lab.
The feature will be available to all customers by November 10, 2025.
