Custom Document Lifecycles
We’re excited to introduce Custom Document Lifecycles in the Controlled Document Management application — a highly requested enhancement that allows organizations to define document lifecycles tailored to their unique processes.
With this release, administrators can now create Custom Categories that include configurable document statuses. Documents can be added to these custom categories via the existing Import to Controlled Documents and Mark as Controlled Document flows, and can move through a fully customizable status sequence defined by your team. All activity is captured through audit logging, supporting compliance and traceability.
This feature is ideal for managing documents related to CAPA, deviations, audits, and other regulated or quality-driven workflows — all within Egnyte’s secure and centralized environment.
