Egnyte provides users with the ability to directly convert files to PDF as part of a workflow template step. With the Convert file to PDF automated action step, users can configure workflows that automatically convert selected files during workflow execution—removing the need for manual conversion.
This helps reduce repetitive tasks and supports consistent file formats across teams. Users can choose to store the converted PDF in the same folder as the source file or specify a different destination folder based on their needs. The feature is useful for processes that require standardized document formats for sharing, record-keeping, or compliance.
By including this step in a workflow, users can simplify routine operations and maintain better control over how files are processed and stored.
The Convert File to PDF step in Workflow Template is part of the PDF File Handler Add-On. Please contact an Egnyte account manager or the Egnyte Sales team to add this feature.
