Key Details:
- Users can now add the Egnyte app as a tab in any Teams channel by selecting a specific folder to display.
- No Admin configuration is required, making it easier to deploy in smaller teams or test environments.
-
Users can take full advantage of the Egnyte Tab in Microsoft Teams to browse and manage folder content, as well as upload files directly within the tab—no admin setup required.
Note: Messaging extension features like link sharing or direct uploads from the message field are not available in this mode.
Using this functionality does not require any actions from the Admin in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Admin setup in Apps & Integrations.
