Add a New Group

Create New Groups

Adding a group in Egnyte lets one quickly assign folder permissions to a group of users that should all have the same level of access.

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Users & Groups -> Groups

  2. Click on Add a Group

  3. Enter the group name and click Save
  4. ​​​​A notification appears on creation of the group

  5. Click on Add users to this group to add users. Alternatively, hover over on the group name and click on Details -> Add users to this group​​​

  6. Start searching for users that should be included in this group. Once all of the desired users have been added, click Save

  7. ​​​​Selected user(s) will be added to the group
