Custom Reports enable the users to generate customized reports and gain deeper insights to their data’s security and governance.
Users can analyze issues across metrics like creation timestamp, folders, and records by combining dimensions, metrics, and filters. Reports can be further refined using filters like timestamp and affected items for effective threat management.
Currently, custom reports are available for Issues as the Data Stream.

Create a New Report
- Navigate to Secure & Govern -> Reports -> Threat Management and Click on New Report.
- Enter the details to create a new report.
- Report name: Provide a name for the report being created
- Data Stream: This is pre-selected as Issues and cannot be changed currently

Dimensions: These are the parameters that a user may want to categorize or segment their data into.
A user can select at most two dimensions across the same or different categories listed.

Metrics: These are the parameters that provide quantitative value that can be measured.
A user can select at most two metrics across the categories with one metrics per category.

Filters: The users can further refine their report by selecting the filters under categories as Timestamp, Affected Items, and Others.
- Click on View Results to view the results as per the dimensions, metrics, and filters selected. Click on Create to create the report.
- The newly created report is displayed under Reports -> Threat Management -> Custom Reports.
The report is in the pending status initially and takes a few seconds to generate.
Access a Report
Navigate to Secure & Govern -> Reports -> Threat Management -> Custom Reports and click on a report to access it.
The custom report with the associated fields is displayed.
Delete a Report
- Navigate to Secure & Govern -> Reports -> Threat Management -> Custom Reports. Click on the three dots icon for a report -> Select Delete.
- Click on Delete to confirm.
Sample Report
There are numerous combinations that the users can utilize to create the custom report of their choice.
For instance, they can choose Issue Type and Issue Status as the two dimensions.
They can then select Affected Users in a Group -> Count and Folders -> Count as metrics.
The users can apply the filter as Issue Status -> Open to view these details only for the Open Issues.
When the user clicks on View results, they will be presented with the matching results.
Further, if the user wishes to refine the report and view the details for Open, In-Progress, and Action Pending Issues Statuses, they can select these filters and click on View Results again.
If the user again wishes to view the above details only for Public Links as the issue type, they can select the filter and click on View Results.
The user can keep on updating their desired options across Dimensions, Metrics, and Filters. They can continue to view the results and click on the Create button once they have the desired report.
