New Features and Enhancements
Link Recipients Email Suggestions or Recommendations
Users now get automatic email suggestions or recommendations based on their past engagement when entering the link recipient’s details while sharing links via email. This feature makes it easy to select recipients from the suggested options or search for others based on the selected link access type. Frequently used email addresses will appear at the top of the matching results, allowing users to quickly find and select their desired recipients.
This feature is available to all platform plan customers. The feature will be enabled across all eligible workgroups by 15th Oct.
Active Links Visual Indicator
Egnyte now supports Active Links Visual Indicator in the file and folder listing, search results and recent files.
This new visual indicator will help users easily know whether there are any active shared links against a folder or a file while navigating through the Egnyte folder listing, search results and recent files. Users can also get more specific details about the active links by clicking on the indicator. This additional visibility can help them make informed decisions, particularly when users are uploading important or sensitive documents within an existing folder or adding sensitive or important information to existing documents.
This feature is available to all platform plan customers. The feature will be enabled across all eligible workgroups by 15th Oct.
Option to CC Users in eSign Requests
Users can now add one or more individuals (both domain users and anyone else with an email address) as CC in the eSign request. A CC’ed user gets the final signed copy after the request is completed. It simplifies the process of informing interested parties about signer’s activity.
Folder Access Request
Users can now request access to folders directly within the application. This feature streamlines the process of gaining and reviewing necessary permissions, enhancing collaboration and productivity.
More information on this feature can be found in the article.
Issues Addressed
Issue with removing more than 10,000 links
When users tried to remove more than 10.000 links at once, they were getting the generic “Failed to delete selected links” message. Users will now be informed that they cannot remove more than 10,000 links in one transaction.
