There are a few reasons why your Storage Sync appliance would fail to connect to your AD environment.
1. Use DHCP within Storage Sync appliance's Network Settings and save. Re-enter the AD parameters again.
2. Alternatively, you can use the fully qualified hostname in the network settings of Storage Sync appliance. Instead of using the host name only (e.g. egnyteelc), you can enter the fully qualified domain name (e.g. egnyteelc.mydomain.local)
3. The Directory Service parameters may not be accurate. Please contact our Support Team for further assistance.
