Configure Egnyte Settings
- Log into Egnyte through the Web UI.
- Navigate to Settings and go to the Configuration tab.
- Select Security & Authentication from the list on the left and scroll down to the Single Sign-on Authentication section of the page.
- Set the Single sign-on authentication provider to Google Apps and click Save.

- Log into Egnyte through the Web UI.
- Navigate to Settings and click on the Users & Groups tab.
- Hover over the user you would like to change the authentication provider for and click Details.
- Select Profile or click Edit user profile.
- Change the Authentication drop-down to SSO.
Note: If the email address does not match their Google account address, this will also need to be updated or they will be unable to utilize SSO.
- Click Save.
Configure Google SSO for Multiple Users in Egnyte
- Log into Egnyte through the Web UI.
- Navigate to Settings and click on the Users & Groups tab.
- Click Export All Users from the top of the page and open the .csv file that's created.
Note: This step can be skipped if you already have a valid .csv file for all of your users.
- Change the AuthType column to sso for each desired user and save the file.
Note: If the email address does not match their Google account address, this will also need to be updated or they will be unable to utilize SSO.
- From the Users & Groups tab, click Import Users.
- Choose the .csv file you created and select the box for Allow updating of existing users.
- Click Import.
Users must manually refresh the page after configuring SSO details in Egnyte.
