If a user selects a folder in Folder Sync settings then the same folder and all of its subfolders or parent folders in the existing folder hierarchy will not be allowed for selection in the Cache Warming settings. This is to stop users from selecting the same folder for both functionalities as it leads to conflicts. The opposite is also valid, where if a folder is selected in Cache Warming settings then the same folder and all of its subfolders or parent folders in the same folder hierarchy will not be allowed for selection in the Folder Sync settings.
Below are the screenshots of the different scenarios in which the user is prevented from selecting the same folder:
- Folder selection checkbox next to “Civil3D” greyed out in Cache Warming settings as it is selected under Folder Sync.
- Folder selection checkboxes greyed for subfolders of “Civil3D” in cache warming settings as “Civil3D” is selected in Folder Sync configuration.
- Folder selection checkbox greyed next to “revit_file” folder in Folder Sync configuration as it is selected in Cache Warming.
- Folder selection checkbox greyed out next to subfolders of “revit_file” in Folder Sync configuration as it is selected in Cache Warming.
- Folder Sync settings page displays the folder “smart_synched” in RED color because the folder sync URL page was open and the user selected the folder in cache warming settings and then came back to the Folder Sync page. This will result in the below validation error.
