If you forget your password, use the steps below to reset it from the WebUI:
- Open the WebUI login page, enter a valid username or email address, and click Continue. If your username or email address is already entered, skip to step 2.
- Select the Forgot password? option on the login page.
- Click Continue to proceed.
- Once you receive the email, click the Change Password button. This button can only be pressed once and will only be active for two hours. You'll be directed to a page where you can enter a new password.
If you receive an email stating "your account is configured to log in using your company's directory service or identity provider" it means your company uses Active Directory or a Single Sign-on provider for authentication. Please reach out to your Administrator for assistance, as your password change will not be handled within Egnyte.
