Thumbnail Support for File Extensions in Desktop App

In Desktop App, thumbnails are an essential feature, allowing you to preview files quickly without opening them. Thumbnails are available in the Preview pane (Windows) or Quick Look (Mac) for various file types. Below is a detailed guide to understanding which file extensions are supported for thumbnails.

File must be below 100MB for the thumbnail to be presented.

  • Bitmap Files: “bmp”
  • PNG Files: “png”
  • Web Images: “webp”, “svg”
  • GIF Files: “gif”
  • TIFF Files: “tif”, “tiff”
  • HEIF Files: “heif”, “heic”
