Language Pack Request FAQ (Beta)

Overview

The Language Pack provides access to localization features across the Egnyte platform. It is currently available in beta, which means not all areas of the platform are fully covered just yet. 

Collaborate Web UI

The Collaborate web app currently supports the following languages:

  • English (en-US)
  • العربية / Arabic (ar-AR; translation-only)
  • Deutsch / German (de-DE)
  • Español / Spanish (es-ES)
  • Suomi / Finnish (fi-FI)
  • Français (Canada; fr-CA)
  • עברית / Hebrew (he-IL; translation-only)
  • हिन्दी / Hindi (hi-HI)
  • Italiano / Italian (it-IT)
  • 한국어 / Korean (ko-KR)
  • Nederlands / Dutch (nl-NL)
  • Polski / Polish (pl-PL)
  • Português / Portuguese (Brasil; pt-BR)
  • Русский / Russian (ru-RU)
  • Svenska / Swedish (sv-SE)
  • Türkçe / Turkish (tr-TR)
  • 简体中文 / Simplified Chinese (zh-CN)

New translations, updates to existing translations, and coverage for currently untranslated areas are released on a quarterly basis.

Shared Links and Egnyte Copilot

  • Shared link preview page is automatically displayed according to the viewer's browser language. Egnyte currently supports 30+ languages in that location.
  • Egnyte Copilot recognizes and responds in the language of the user prompt.

Desktop App, Mobile App, and Other Areas

Prioritization of support for the Desktop App, Mobile Apps, and additional areas of the platform is continuously prioritized according to demand.

Enabling the Language Pack

To enable the Language Pack (Beta) for your domain, contact the Egnyte Product team and request activation. Please note that by opting in, you acknowledge and accept the beta status of this functionality.
