Admin users can define a list of file extensions that Desktop App should not upload to the cloud. Desktop App will continue to download existing files with the defined extensions, but updates or new files will not sync to the cloud and remain only on users' machines.
- Navigate to Settings => Configuration => Applications.
- Scroll down to the Desktop section.
- In the Prevent uploading the following extension from the desktop text box, add the file extensions that need to be excluded from upload
- Click on the Save changes button.
These file extensions will be excluded from upload in the Desktop App.
Excluded files will appear under Skipped Items in DA Core with the reason Excluded from upload.
In the Desktop App for MAC, the skipped items are displayed on the Home Tab of the application.
On clicking on the skipped file button, a list of skipped files are shown with the reason behind it.
