Known Android 12 Issues With Deep-Linking

The newest Android 12 version changes the way Egnyte handles deep-linking. The Egnyte team is aware of this issue, and we are already discussing how to resolve this issue.

What Does That Mean for the Egnyte Android Users?

Android 12 Users

Deep-links will open by default in the native device browser. Currently, there is no option on the device or app settings to change this behavior.

Android 9.x, 10.x, 11.x Users

Nothing changes for you. Deep-links work as they used to work

You can find more information about those changes here.
