To install the Mac FileGuard Beta, download the installer ZIP file from the link page dialog that appears when you download a file shared with Secure Delivery.

Inside the ZIP file you will find an installer for macFUSE. For beta, this must be installed separately prior to installation of the FileGuard client. In future versions of the installer, MacFUSE will be installed automatically.

Double click the macFUSE macfuse-4.1.0.dmg file to get started. Note that if you have a Mac that uses the new M1 processor, you will need to follow these instructions prior to installing macFUSE.

Double click Install macFUSE to proceed.

Click Allow.

Follow the installer instructions to complete installation of macFUSE. A reboot will be required.

After installing macFUSE, double click the FileGuard installer to proceed.

Click Open.

Enter your password and click OK.

Follow the installer instructions to complete installation of FileGuard.

FileGuard will start automatically at the end of installation. You should see it appear in your menu bar.

On first start, you will see a notification like the one above, asking for permission to allow FileGuard to show notifications. Choose Allow from the Options dropdown in this notification.

You will see a drive mounted on your desktop called "Drop Files Here to Decrypt". Simply drag and drop files downloaded via Secure Delivery onto the drive to decrypt them. Open the drive to access the decrypted files.
