Desktop App (Windows)- How to collect logs manually

Sometimes Support will request that logs be sent so we can further troubleshoot.  These are the steps to manually collect logs for Desktop App issues:

 

Desktop App Logs:

Desktop app logs are removed if the application is uninstalled. Please preserve the logs by following the steps below before uninstalling the application.

  • Desktop App logs located in (C:\Users\<<Username>>\AppData\Local\Egnyte Connect\logs).
  • Please zip the folder and send the zip file via an Egnyte link to support@egnyte.com.

Event Viewer Logs:

Collect the Event viewer logs from the affected machine. To generate these logs, please follow the steps listed below:
