Additional Support for Google Drive
- Permissions Browser Support for Google Drive
You can now use the Permissions Browser for Google Drive sources in the same manner as you do for other sources.
- Unused Group rule
Unused Group rule is now supported on G-Drive sources. Issues will appear in the same way as you do for other sources.
- Empty Group rule for Google Drive
Empty Group rule is now supported for Google Drive sources. Issues will appear in the same way as you do for other sources.
On-Demand Archival and Deletion
You can now archive and delete folders directly from the Content Lifecycle view on content that requires immediate action outside of any predefined policies.
Proactive Whitelisting for non-Egnyte sources
You can now proactively permit locations in OneDrive for Business, Sharepoint Online, Microsoft Azure, Box, Google Drive, Amazon S3, and Google Cloud Storage sources to contain content that meets the criteria for any built-in or custom content classification policies.
Local Read Event Support for the Egnyte Desktop Application
Local read events, such as downloads, are now fully supported for Unusual Access.
This feature will be auto-enabled, on a per-user basis, for anyone meeting the Desktop Application version requirements below:
- MAC supported on Desktop Application version 3.8.1 and higher
- Windows supported on Desktop Application version 126.96.36.199 and higher
Note: For any new user upgrading to the supported versions above, there is a one-time 60 day user-model training period. No Desktop Application Unusual Access anomalies will be detected, for a user, during the user-model training period.
