Setting to Manage if Users Can View Activity Tab
An admin can now choose who should view the "Activity Tab." It can be turned off separately for Power Users and Standard Users. This feature will be enabled first for a few selected customers (on the Platform Enterprise plans). The settings are available under Configuration > User Types & Roles.
New Settings for Desktop
Both of the settings are available in the Settings > Configuration > Applications > Desktop.
The new setting "Allow users to sync folders for offline access." When enabled, users will connect local folders to Egnyte cloud from the context menu. By default, the value is true when "Allow users to sync folders for offline access" is set for "Admins & Power Users."
With the Desktop Device Entitlement setting, the Device Entitlement for the Desktop App and Desktop Sync was improved. Now, the admin can provide a list of all possible UPN suffixes directly from the settings.
