On August 17, 2020, Microsoft announced a timeline for Microsoft 365 apps and services to stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) on November 2020.  

What does that mean for the Egnyte users?

Along the lines of Microsoft's end-of-support for Internet Explorer 11, we will also no longer support the IE 11 browser. This means that end-users may experience degraded performance or functionality. 

When do we plan to stop supporting IE 11?

Starting March 31st, 2021, Internet Explorer 11 will be no longer supported and Egnyte will no longer release new product features, bug fixes, or security patches, but it will continue to operate past the End of Support date. As a result, if you experience any unexpected behaviors after this date, Egnyte will recommend switching to other web browsers.

On August 17th, 2021, Internet Explorer 11 will reach the end of their life. This means Egnyte will no longer support the front-end and back-end infrastructure needed for IE 11 to work as expected and we may even actively block the corresponding versions from communicating with our services, preventing the use of the application.
