We’ve made some exciting changes based on your feedback and can’t wait for you to check them out.
- UI feature to unmap Storage Sync users: The Storage Sync UI allows the system admins the ability to associate users between Storage Sync and the cloud. However, in scenarios such as a user-name change in the cloud, the admin requires to unmap users who are mapped manually and re-map them with the changed name. We have added a UI feature to easily unmap users at scale. This will ease the user-management for admins on Storage Sync who otherwise did not have an easy method to unmap a large number of users.
- Ability to handle merge-file operations on Storage Sync: Addressed an issue where Storage Sync uploaded a previous version of a file at the destination if a cloud user overwrote an existing file by copying the file from a different source location.
- Newly-created folders rarely do not get synced down to Storage Sync: Identified and addressed a timing condition where Storage Sync under rare circumstances did not synchronize a newly created folder from the cloud to the device.
- Folders with deep sub-folder hierarchy rarely did not get synced down to Storage Sync: Identified and addressed a rare scenario where Storage Sync does not synchronize a folder with a deep hierarchy of sub-folders when the user renames the folder in the cloud.
