We’ve made some exciting changes based on your feedback and can’t wait for you to check them out.
Turbo Offline Mode
We have introduced a feature that enables Turbo to serve user-requests even if the cloud services are not available, possibly due to internet disconnection issues. Desktop App users can continue to perform file and folder operations such as creation, edit, copy, or rename, and these changes get saved to the Turbo device in the offline mode. Turbo device locks the files that have been opened and being modified by users. This ensures that users in the same office cannot edit a file that is being modified by another user. The files being modified on the Turbo device are not locked in the cloud during the time the Turbo device is offline. All the modified files and folders are synchronized with the cloud when the internet connectivity is restored.
For security reasons, Desktop App users can access their files on the Turbo device up to 24 hours of internet downtime.
If you would like this feature enabled, please contact our Support team.
Configure Turbo with custom DNS and NTP Servers
Turbo relies on global DNS and NTP servers available on the internet to function correctly. Some customers, however, have firewall rules that restrict access to internet name servers. Instead, they want to configure Turbo to point to their company's name servers. We have enhanced the Turbo admin console to configure DNS and NTP servers within their company firewall.
