Egnyte Connect’s integration with Oracle enables you to leverage Egnyte’s enterprise-caliber file sync and share while keeping your data in Oracle Storage Cloud. This article covers how to set up your Egnyte Connect trial account for use with Oracle Storage Cloud.
Existing Egnyte customers who are interested in using Oracle Storage Cloud should contact customer support to proceed.
Create Egnyte Connect Trial Account
To get started, find the listing for Egnyte Connect in Oracle's Cloud marketplace and click Get App.
You will be directed to a page where you can register for an Egnyte Connect trial account.
Fill out the form, and you will automatically be logged into your new Egnyte Connect account.
Configure Oracle Storage
When you first log in to your Egnyte Connect account, you will be prompted to configure your Oracle storage settings.
Note: This is a mandatory step that must be completed before you can begin using Egnyte Connect.
Click Go to Oracle Configuration in the dialog to proceed.
You will automatically be taken to the Storage Provider section in your account’s settings. For reference, you can find this section under the Configuration tab of Settings in the Security & Authentication section.
Enter the Account ID, Secret, Storage Container, and API URL associated with your Oracle subscription. The Account ID and Secret will be used to authenticate with Oracle. The Storage Container refers to the specific storage bucket in your Oracle account where Egnyte data is stored, and the API URL is associated with the specific Oracle data center where Egnyte data is stored.
Click Save once you’re ready to proceed. You will see a green check mark next to the save button if your Oracle storage settings have been accepted.

Change Storage Provider Settings
Once you have configured your storage provider settings, you will not be able to change them directly from Egnyte Connect’s Web UI. Please contact Egnyte Support if you need to change any of these details.
