Desktop Sync 9.2.4 for Mac and Windows (August 14, 2018)

  • You can now stop sync from the taskbar in Windows or the menu bar in Mac regardless of whether a sync is in progress or not.
  • Introduced a new msi install parameter to allow admins to control whether Windows explorer should be restarted during the install process.
  • Improvement to prevent excessive memory usage when processing a large amount of actions (10,000+) in the sync directory.
  • Fix to reduce amount of disk space used for temporary storage of files by Desktop Sync.
  • Fix for an issue on Windows where the system tray icon in Windows would sometimes not reflect the actual status of sync after upgrading Desktop Sync but before the machine was restarted.
  • Fix for a rare issue where downloads of large files (over 100 MB) could be corrupted on unstable / unreliable internet connections.
  • Fix for a rare issue where the system tray icon in Windows would show an ‘Unexpected error’ message on certain operations that would result in a scan of the whole sync directory.
  • Fix for a rare issue where deleting a file and immediately creating another file with the same name in another folder would result in the deleted file being moved.
