You may find that the Desktop Sync on your computer system stops syncing and throws an error: Sync finished with error: Sync stopped. Insufficient disk space.
You would find that there is free space on your computer, yet the error persists.
This happens when the Desktop Sync is trying to download a bigger size data set than the amount of space available on the drive where the Desktop Sync's Egnyte folder resides.
Here is a sample log snippet from the sync logs:
2018-06-28 15:03:24,709 D01 sync INFO Upload size = 4.15MB; download size = 516GB; cloud free space = inf; local free space = 176GB

2018-06-28 15:03:24,709 D01 sync ERROR Not enough free space on hard drive
2018-06-28 15:03:24,772 D01 sdis WARNING Sync finished with error: Sync stopped. Insufficient disk space
To resolve these issues, you may need to uncheck some folders from configure folders section at http://127.0.0.1:8806. This way the download size from the cloud to the local machine will be reduced. Alternatively, you can clean up your local disk and make more space to accommodate the data being downloaded from the cloud.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, then please send the logs to the support team for investigation.
Please click Contact Support located on the top right hand corner of the Sync Settings page. Check the Send Logs box and leave the issue description in the comments. They will review the logs to see what is causing the issue.
