Option to Specify Allowed Web Interfaces

In this weekend’s release, we introduced a group of admin settings that can used to specify which versions of Egnyte’s Web Interface are available for users. We also updated the visual styling of buttons and text in the account settings to improve consistency with the rest of our UI.

Specify Allowed Web Interfaces

These new options are a great way to ensure that your users are leveraging Egnyte’s new collaborative Web UI. You can find them in your account’s settings under Configuration → General → Allowed Web Interfaces. Once you enable an interface, your users will be able to switch to it from the My Profile section of their account. To enable the new collaborative UI as an option for your users, select “New Look 2.0”.

Note that if you have only enabled one interface, all users in your account will be switched onto that interface.

Updated Styling of Buttons in Settings

In keeping with the recent changes we’ve made in the Web UI, we updated the buttons used for options that can be enabled or disabled in the account settings. These buttons will now appear green when enabled.
