Interactive Training

Egnyte offers Interactive Training so that you can receive guided instruction about our different products and features. This article will walk you through the basics of how to access and navigate Egnyte's Interactive Training.

The Basics

Start by selecting the “Interactive Training” option from the "Help" dialog under the hamburger icon at the top right of the screen in the Web UI.

You’ll be taken to the Interactive Training home screen.

There are a few key terms that you’ll need to be familiar with to get the most out of these training courses.

Enrolling = To enroll means to elect to take a course.

Launching = To actually start a course in which you have enrolled.

Required Training = These are courses that are required at your company; most of our customers do not require courses.

Completed Training = These are courses which you enrolled in and completed.

Enrolling in a Course

To get started, just choose a course and click “Start Course”.

In the next screen, click the “Enroll” button below the course name.

Then click “Launch” to begin the course.

Note that you may encounter an issue if your browser blocks pop-ups. Choose the “Launch Course” option to continue if this happens.

The course will open in a separate browser window.

Tracking Your Progress

As you complete courses, you can track your progress from the “Completed Training” section.

This section functions as a transcript for your training courses. You can see a list of the courses you have completed and when you completed each one. If you want to export or print your transcript for easy viewing, you can do this from the top right corner of the Completed Training page.
