Internet Explorer's “Compatibility View” allows older websites that don't work in new versions of Internet Explorer to fall back to the approach used by earlier versions of Internet Explorer. Egnyte is not compatible with this mode because it removes certain features of the browser and causes layout problems. This article explains how to turn off “Compatibility View” so that you can use your Egnyte account as designed.
1. From the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer, choose "Compatibility View Settings." Tip: if you can't see the tools menu, press Alt-T on your keyboard to show the menu.
2. If Egnyte is shown in the list of sites you've added to the Compatibility View, select it and click the “remove” button.
3. If the option "Display all websites in Compatibility View" is checked, un-check it.
4. Click "Close"
5. Restart your browser and log back in to your Egnyte account.
