Unable to launch Desktop Sync DMG file installation (Mac)

If double clicking Egnyte Desktop Sync dmg file fails to start the installation, please complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Finder.
  2. Under Devices, open the root folder (default name: Macintosh HD).
  3. Select the Library folder.
  4. Open the Preferences folder and delete the following files:


  5. Restart your Mac.
  6. Restart the installation process and double click the dmg installer.
