Improved Document Scanner
This release includes an improved document scanner with enhanced detection of document outlines, indicated in the app by a red rectangle. The new solution has been optimized for various scenarios such as tilting the camera when taking a picture, low light or high noise conditions, and when part of the document outline is blocked by an object in front of it. The overall experience has been improved, resulting in a smoother and less jumpy document outline, making it easier for users to predict the scan they will take.
End of Support for iOS 14
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible experience for our users, we will no longer support iOS 14 in the Egnyte iOS app. This means that users with iOS 14 devices will no longer receive app updates, new features, or bug fixes. To continue receiving updates and support, we recommend updating to the latest version of iOS available for your device.
Issues Addressed
Version 8.16 fixes the following issues:
- The issue preventing users from adding comments in Workflows when they reject a Task
- The issue with links for custom and FedRAMP domains opening in a browser and not in the app
- The issue where file path isn’t shown under the file name in Workflows Details view
