Updates Regarding Opening and Attaching Files on iOS 16

Follow

Egnyte iOS Mobile App v. 8.13.1 | Release Date: December 14, 2022

Issues Addressed

  • Attaching files from Egnyte to Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook. Fixed an issue for users who upgraded the operating system to version 16 (16.1, 16.1.2) on their iPhones and iPads and could not attach files from Egnyte Storage to Apple Mail and Outlook. With the fix, when the user clicks on the Add Attachment option in the email client app, he can navigate to an Egnyte folder and select the file he wants to attach to the email message by tapping on it.

Opening files from the native Files App. Fixed an issue for users who upgraded the operating system to version 16 (16.1, 16.1.2) on their iPhones and iPads and couldn’t open files sitting within Egnyte Storage using the native iOS Files app. With the fix, when the user navigates to the Browse option in the Files app and selects Egnyte from the list of available locations, he can then navigate to an Egnyte Folder and open the files sitting in it.
